DESCRIPTION
Red beans are old beans that are found in the Jomon period archeological sites. It is cultivated all over the country, but more than 60 % of Hokkaido accounts for. It is mainly processed in bean paste and yokan or used for red rice ingredients. The red pigment of the seed skin contains polyphenols. It seems that the content of polyphenols is larger than red wine.
