The person in the photo is the founder, Touka Ao. Born in 1947 in Guizhou Province, in 1947, she opened a food stall that sells cold noodles and ryoso (Chinese -style nodoten), where she began making "pepper soy sauce" as a seasoning dedicated to Ryotoku.
The flour sold like flying, but when the pepper soy sauce was gone, it was no longer sold. She notices the popularity of pepper soy sauce and opens a production factory for pepper soy sauce with the recommendation of the surroundings.
The brand name was "Old Ma" because the students who came to the stalls were familiar and called her "Touka Ao" (mother). She does not drink tea or soft drinks to sharpen the taste and smell, and she is now sold not only in China and Europe and the United States as well as China and Europe.
