”Tokyo Brands Co., Ltd.” (hereinafter referred to as the ”Company”) realizes the proper protection of personal information (hereinafter referred to as ”Personal Information”) of users (hereinafter referred to as ”Service Users”) of ”Tokyo Brands Marketplace”, the website operated by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the ”Website”) is an important social responsibility of the Company, thus it herein establishes and shall comply with this Policy.

1. Personal Information: Definition
The Company considers Personal Information as any information pertaining to a specific individual, by which such individual may be identifiable, including any description, symbol, image and sound.

Any Information collected from Service Users through the Website shall be in the sole possession of the Company.     • a. Membership Registration (for Retailers and Client Companies)
      Those who wish to use the Website need to make membership registration on the Website. Such parties wishing to use the services provided by the Company should provide their contact details (name of contact person, email address and office address) to the Company on the membership registration.
    • b. Placement of Orders
      Service Users may provide information different from those previously registered with the Company as additional information (such as delivery address) for single order.
      The information previously registered with the Company shall include credit card information and delivery address.
    • c. Request for Information Materials and Seminar Sign-up
      The Company accepts request for information materials from those who wish to use the services provided by the Company as a Client Company on the Website. Such parties need to provide their company information (name, office address and phone number) and contact person information (name and email address) to the Company.
    • d. Inquiries
      The Company has made available the inquiry form within the Website as an additional communication means other than telephone, fax and email. Those who wish to use the inquiry form are required to provide their company name, phone number and email address on the form in order to receive the response.
    • e. Cookies, Access logs and Web beacons
      The Website uses Cookies for the purposes of Service User's login session management, etc.
      Cookies are small data files that are used to transmit data to the Service Users’ computer from the web server when they accessed the Website.

      The Company collects information from access logs for the purpose of researching the usage of the Website. Although the access logs contain Service Users' ID, such IDs shall not be included when the aggregated usage data is disclosed to third parties.

The Company shall clarify the purpose of use of Personal Information, and it shall only handle them within the scope necessary to attain such purpose of use.

The Company uses third party carrier services for the shipment of merchandise. Additionally, the Company uses credit card billing companies, if Service Users wish to use their credit cards for the payment of the fees and charges relating to the merchandise and the use of the services provided by the Company.
The Company may entrust part of its operations on the Website to third parties as the above cases. Also, the Company may enter into a service contract with third party service providers for special services. In such cases, the Company may share all information required by such entrusting third party service providers (Service Users’ name, other contact information and billing information including credit card number).
The Company shall manage and supervise each entrusting third party service provider by respectively entering into a non-disclosure agreement with them in order to ensure that Personal Information entrusted to them shall not be used for the purposes beyond the scope of their entrusted business.

8. Correction and Update of Personal Information
The Company provides a web form on the Website for Service Users to personally request for the disclosure or change of their own Personal Information as well as to discontinue the use of the services provided by the Company. The Company shall handle such request without delay according to the procedure separately specified by the Company.
9. Request for your Own Personal Information
The Company shall properly and promptly respond to any request submitted by Service Users for disclosure of their own Personal Information after identification of the Service User requesting such disclosure is verified.
If a Service User finds any errors in the Personal Information maintained by the Company after the disclosure of such information and informs the Company of such errors, the Company shall, in principle, accept a request for correction or deletion of such errors.
The Company shall comply with a request for the suspension of use of Personal Information when such information is (1) used for the purposes other than those provided in the Privacy Statement; (2) illegally collected; or (3) provided to third parties without such Service User’s consent.
